In 2024, amid a turning point for fashion in Rio de Janeiro, Moda Rio – the union affiliated with the Federation of Industries of Rio de Janeiro (Firjan) – invited IARA to collaborate on Moda Rio 5.0, a major event introducing new technology intelligence to the region’s fashion sector.

IARA was responsible for building the event and curating key industry figures, ensuring a substantial and relevant program for an audience filled with major names in Brazilian fashion. With a full house all day, the event reflected the industry’s growing interest in the intersection of fashion and technology.

Among the notable attendees were representatives from the Rio de Janeiro City Hall, as well as the president of Firjan and the president of Moda Rio, reinforcing the event’s significance for the future of the fashion industry in the region.
